'Selfie' with Elon Musk went viral, CEO told how AI can play with your mind
In the growing era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), misinformation has become the biggest threat. A CEO from Bangalore posted a fake selfie with Elon Musk to show how AI can easily fabricate fake news and pictures.
A picture started going viral on social media, that suddenly created a stir on LinkedIn. In the picture, Deepak Kanakaraju, CEO of a Bangalore company, was seen posing with Elon Musk himself. People wondered if Elon Musk really came to Bangalore? But the reality was something else.
Actually, this photo was completely the wonder of AI. Deepak had added Elon Musk to his selfie with the help of AI. He wrote, "The real danger of AI is not jobs... but how easily false news can spread."
This small joke was actually a big lesson. Deepak showed that in the age of AI, trusting a picture blindly can be very dangerous.
Deepak's post received several reactions. One user wrote, "This is the real danger. With every new AI upgrade, it is getting more dangerous. It seems as if news will be created before it is real."
