Sachet App: PM Modi mentioned 'Sachet App' in the 121st episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' today. This app will work to send alerts to the phone before natural disasters occur.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about a very significant technological project in episode 121 of 'Mann Ki Baat'. Prime Minister Modi said that the 'SACHET' app prepared by the Indian National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) will now assist people in avoiding natural disasters.
The intention of the SACHET app, according to PM Modi, was to keep each citizen safe and informed in all means. With the help of the app, the up-to-date information regarding the Meteorological Department will be right on your phone. i.e., if there is a threat of a flood, earthquake, cyclone, or any other calamity nearby, then you will receive a warning in time.
The Prime Minister added that the app gives information in a wide range of regional languages so that all people who dwell in all corners of the nation can easily understand as well as utilize it.
