Redmi Unveils Watch 6 with Xiaomi Surge OS 3, Super Island Interface, and 150+ Sports Modes
Redmi has launched the Redmi Watch 6 with over 150 sports modes. It features a 1.91-inch LCD display, a heart rate monitor, and an SpO2 sensor. It is 5ATM water resistant and offers up to 10 days of battery life. Currently launched in China, it is priced at around ₹2,600. An India launch date is awaited.
Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi launched its new smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 6. It has a new design and better specifications. This Redmi watch comes with a 2.07-inch AMOLED color display with a pixel resolution of 432×514 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 82 percent. The screen has a peak brightness of 2000 nits and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, supporting Always-On Display. The watch comes with 2.5D curved glass and a variety of watch faces.
The Redmi Watch 6 features the Xiaomi Surge OS 3 along with the Super Island interface, providing smooth performance as well as enhanced device connectivity. With the Converged Device Center, one can control his smart devices from the watch. This Redmi watch has WeChat quick replies.
The Redmi Watch 6 offers over 150 sports modes, with the watch automatically detecting six of these. The watch offers various health tracking features, including heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep, and stress tracking. The company has provided support for a heart rate sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and geomagnetic sensor in this Redmi watch.
The company has provided a 550mAh battery in this watch. Regarding the Watch 6, the company claims that it offers up to 12 days of backup during regular use. For connectivity, this watch also supports Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and 5ATM water resistance.

Speaking of its price, this Redmi watch has been launched in China for CNY 599 (approximately Rs. 7,400). This watch has been offered in Blue Moon Silver, Elegant Black, and Misty Blue color options. The company has not yet provided any information regarding the India launch of this watch.
