Jagran sources said the board of directors will meet in Mumbai on May 7th under the chairmanship of Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran. It is expected to discuss cost-cutting measures, financial results for the 2025-26 fiscal year, and the appointment of a new CEO. Tata Sons and Air India declined to comment. As part of its stringent cost-cutting measures amid rising jet fuel prices, Air India is considering delinking meals and lounge facilities for business-class passengers from its ticket fares.
