Realme Neo 8 was launched in China today. This new smartphone from Realme, which is a sub-brand of Chinese tech giant Oppo, boasts three color variants, an 8000mAh power-packed battery, and 80W fast charging support. Realme Neo 8 is fueled by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, along with 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage. Realme Neo 8 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, along with a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel sensor. Realme Neo 8 boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Realme Neo 8 is priced at CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 33,000) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB RAM and storage models are priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 35,000), CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs. 38,000), CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs. 41,000), and CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs. 48,000), respectively.
The Realme Neo 8 is currently available in Cyber Purple, Mech Gray, and Origin White (translated from Chinese) color options in China. The dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) Realme Neo 8 runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 and features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,272x2,772 pixels) AMOLED display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Made from Samsung's M14 material, the display is claimed to deliver up to 3,800 nits of brightness. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
