Rajasthan's first Vande Bharat train will run from April 12: PM Modi will flag off

Rajasthan's first semi-high-speed train Vande Bharat will start on April 12. Although the fine schedule of the commercial run of the train has not been released yet, its schedule will be released by today evening. On an inaugural day, the train will run from Jaipur to New Delhi instead of Ajmer. The train will run from Jaipur at 12:30 pm on April 12, which will be virtually flagged off by PM Modi from Delhi. This will be the 14th Vande Bharat train in the country.
According to sources, after the inauguration, the train will operate between Ajmer-Delhi on normal days. When the final schedule is released, information about train timings, days in a week, stoppages and fares etc. will be available. The specialty of this train is that it is completely made of 100 percent indigenous technology. The fully AC train has many facilities like comfortable seats, automatic doors, GPS system and WiFi etc.
This train was trialled for three days in March. Then this train was run between Ajmer to New Delhi at a speed of about 110 kilometres per hour. During the trial run itself, the employees of the Ajmer and Jaipur divisions created a ruckus regarding the deployment of staff in the train. The employee organizations of both divisions wanted to deploy employees from their respective places for ticket checking and operations.
At present, a total of 11 Vande Bharat trains are operating in the country. The first train was started in January 2019 between New Delhi and Varanasi. After this, this state-of-the-art train will run on New Delhi-Vaishno Devi, Gandhinagar-Mumbai, Delhi-Amb Andaura (Himachal Pradesh), Chennai-Mysore, Nagpur-Bilaspur, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi, Mumbai-Solapur and Started between Bhopal-Delhi. Apart from this, Vande Bharat is also going to start between Chennai-Coimbatore and Secunderabad-Tirupati from Saturday. PM Narendra Modi will flag off both these trains.
