The Western Disturbance’s effects in Rajasthan persisted into Tuesday, keeping eastern districts cloudy with light rain in some areas. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for nine districts. From October 8, clear and dry weather is forecasted across the state.

On Monday, several districts, including Jaipur, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, and Sikar, experienced heavy rainfall of up to 4 inches, leading to flooded fields and damage to Kharif crops. The rainfall and cloud cover caused a significant drop in temperatures, with Hanumangarh seeing only a 1-degree difference between day and night temperatures.

Kuchaman in Nagaur received 88 mm of rain, Khandela in Sikar 70 mm, Srimadhopur 66 mm, and Chhaparwada in Jaipur 92 mm. Other districts such as Alwar, Bundi, Rajsamand, Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, and Jhunjhunu also saw substantial rainfall.
