Rajasthan Weather Update: Rain Alert in 7 Districts, Dense Fog Warning in 17
Rajasthan Weather: The weather in Rajasthan was mixed. Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 28.5 degrees Celsius, while Pali was the coldest, with a minimum temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius. While sunshine shone in many districts, fog and mild cold prevailed elsewhere.
Due to the effect of the western disturbances, the weather in Rajasthan is changing frequently. On Monday, the weather was clear and sunny in the majority of the districts of the state. However, the weather has changed again. Today, the weather has changed. On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for rain in seven districts of the state. A warning of dense fog has been issued in 17 districts. During the last 24 hours, the weather has been clear in the majority of the districts, and the sun has provided relief from the intense cold.
The maximum temperature recorded in the state during the past 24 hours was from Barmer, where it was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, fog was experienced in Karauli, Bharatpur, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, and Churu in eastern Rajasthan. Kota, Bundi, and Baran remained foggy and overcast throughout the day. In Sikar, Pilani, and Fatehpur, light cold winds accompanied by fog kept the day cool and weakened the sunlight. Consequently, the maximum temperature in these areas dropped by 2 to 3 degrees. Regarding minimum temperatures, Pali was the coldest city in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius. However, night temperatures in most other cities remained at or above 10 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures in major cities across the state include Ajmer with a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 12.2 degrees Celsius, Alwar with 23.5 degrees Celsius and 9.5 degrees Celsius, and Jaipur with 25.9 degrees Celsius and 11.7 degrees Celsius. Pilani has a maximum of 20.9 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 11.8 degrees Celsius, and Sikar with 22.5 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius. 23.8 and 16.2 degrees were recorded in Kota, 26.8 and 15.2 in Chittorgarh, 25 and 15.2 degrees in Udaipur. Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature of the state at 28.5 and minimum at 13.2. 25.3 and 11.1 degrees were recorded in Jaisalmer, 27.2 and 13.2 in Jodhpur, 22.4 and 10 degrees in Bikaner. 22.6 and 11.8 degrees were recorded in Churu, 20.5 and 9.3 degrees in Sriganganagar, 23.4 and 14.1 degrees in Baran. 27.3 and 11.7 degrees were recorded in Jalore, 20.8 and 9.8 degrees in Sirohi, 23.3 and 10.1 degrees were recorded in Fatehpur. Karauli recorded 22.7 and 9.3 degrees Celsius, Dausa 26.9 and 11 degrees Celsius, Pratapgarh 24.8 and 16.8 degrees Celsius, and Jhunjhunu 21.8 and 10.9 degrees Celsius. Pali was the coldest city in the state, with a minimum temperature of 6.4 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 25.1 degrees Celsius.
