Rajasthan Royals pull off incredible fightback to beat Gujarat Titans by 3 wickets in IPL 2023

In a thrilling match between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the RR pulled off an incredible fightback to win by three wickets. The match saw Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer leading the charge for RR after they lost two early wickets and struggled to score runs in the powerplay.

Samson played a brilliant knock of 60 runs off 32 balls, which included six fours and three sixes, to bring RR back into the game. He built crucial partnerships with Devdutt Padikkal and Hetmyer to keep the chase alive. Hetmyer, who remained unbeaten on 56 off 26 balls, played a crucial role in the final overs and hit the winning six off the second ball of the last over to seal the victory for RR.

Earlier, GT had scored 177/7 in their innings, thanks to the late surge provided by David Miller. GT looked set for a score close to 200, but lost momentum after the dismissal of Hardik Pandya. Miller, who was dropped early in his innings, made RR pay by scoring 46 off 30 balls.
