Police punctured and stopped smugglers' vehicle, seized 370 kg of doda chura, smuggler absconded
Chittorgarh News: Chittorgarh Kotwali Police seized a large quantity of doda chura during the blockade. Taking advantage of the darkness, the smuggler absconded. Police recovered the car in an abandoned condition. The narcotics and other materials found in the vehicle were seized under the NDPS Act and an investigation is underway.

A huge quantity of doda chura was seized, for the first time in a long period of time, in an action by the city's Kotwali police station. As much as 369 kg 355 grams of doda chura was seized during the blockade from a Fortuner car. A stop stick was inserted into the tire of the smuggler's car. Even after this, the smuggler drove the car about two kilometers away from the blockade. Later he fled leaving the car unclaimed.
Superintendent of Police Sudhir Joshi said that a campaign is being run in the district to catch illegal drugs and search for wanted criminals. In this, the team led by Kotwali Chittorgarh Thanadhikari Bhavani Singh reached Ghatiyawali Road under the culvert on Chittori Kheda Highway Road and started the blockade. During this time, the driver was seen driving a Fortuner car at a high speed from Ghatiyawali's side.
Before the blockade, the car was signaled to stop, but the driver increased the speed and started running away. On this, the police team punctured the tire of the car with a stop stick. Even after this, the driver started running away with the car. On this, the police chased the Fortuner car in a police vehicle. But due to the long distance, the driver of the Fortuner car took advantage of the darkness and ran away. When the police team searched the Fortuner car, a total of 369 kg 355 grams of Doda Chura was found in 21 plastic sacks. A case was registered under the NDPS Act at the police station Kotwali. Doda Chura, Fortuner's car, and the number plate found in it have been seized and an investigation is being done.
