Now you will be able to message yourself on WhatsApp

WhatsApp is working on a new feature these days 'Message Yourself'. Through this official feature, you will be able to message yourself on WhatsApp. At present, WhatsApp is testing this new feature. This new feature has just been released for Android beta users only.
After Android beta testers, the 'Message Yourself' feature will be rolled out to normal users (stable Android and iOS) soon. A report by WABetaInfo shared a screenshot and explained how you can use the 'Message Yourself' feature. A box named 'ME' is visible in the screenshot. From here users will be able to save their important messages by sending them to themselves.
This report claims that the Messages Yourself feature will be rolled out on Android with the 2.22.24.2 beta update. This is not the first time that WhatsApp is giving users the facility to send messages on their own numbers. Earlier also you could do this, but then the process was not that easy.
Now with the 'Message Yourself' feature, you can easily send yourself notes, messages, media and even important documents. Not only this, but through this feature, users will also get the facility to save their private and important messages. Apart from this feature, the company is also working on features like Profile Photo within Group Chat and Forward Media with Caption, which can be rolled out soon.
A screenshot related to the profile photo within the group chat feature has also been shared in the report. In this, an icon can be seen with the message of the group, in which the profile photo of the sender of the message is visible. If a user has hidden the profile photo, the contact letter and colour will appear instead of the photo. This feature is also being tested on the beta platform.
WhatsApp will soon allow users to forward images, videos, GIFs and documents with captions. Till now, we were only able to forward media and the text associated with it had to be rewritten. But soon this problem will go away. This feature is currently available on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.3.15 update from the Global Play Store. It will be rolled out soon for normal users.
WhatsApp will also allow its desktop users to manage auto-download settings for photos, videos and documents on both Windows and macOS. Currently, this feature is only available for beta desktop users.
Let us know that some time ago WhatsApp rolled out the image blurring tool for desktop users. Through this feature, users can blur any photo before sending it. Users will find this tool in the Photo and Video section. It is expected that the blurring tool will soon be rolled out for smartphone users as well.
