Looted Rs 1.69 crore by pretending to be ED officer, also stole luxury car and expensive mobile

With the ongoing nationwide crackdown by the Enforcement Directorate, big news is emerging from Tamil Nadu. A group in Tamil Nadu has tricked a businessman into believing they are law enforcement. According to the Tamil Nadu Police, five members of this gang broke into the businessman's home and stole two expensive cars, an expensive phone, and Rs 1.69 crore. As of right now, the Tamil Nadu Police has five suspects in this case. Vijay Karthik, Narendra Nath, Rajashekhar, Loganathan, and Gopinath have been identified as them.
Tamil Nadu Police said that regarding this matter, cotton yarn trader Anguraj and his partner Durai in Tiruppur complained that some people pretending to be ED officers looted them. After this, when the police investigated, this matter came to light. In the complaint received by the police, it was said that they received a call from a private company in Hyderabad that they were planning to execute a construction project in Coimbatore, Tiruppur and Erode. According to Anguraj and Durai, the callers requested them to invest and assured them that they would be paid double the amount within a short period.
According to Tamil Nadu Police, the two accepted the callers' credibility and made arrangements for Rs 1.69 crore. Subsequently, the callers requested a photo of the money, which Anguraj and Durai promptly provided. A little while later, five individuals showed up at Anguraj's office and claimed to be ED officers. The five stole the money, according to Anguraj and Durai's complaint, and drove off with two cars and cell phones. They also stole the CCTV footage before leaving the area.
