High-level meeting held after getting new variant of Corona

The crisis of Corona seems to be deepening once again in the country. Ahead of the festivals, two new variants of Corona have been received XBB and XBB.1. Due to this, the states are issuing advisories to prevent the spread of Kovid. At the same time, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya called a high-level meeting to discuss the situation of Covid-19. During this, heads of all government agencies and senior doctors were present.
It was decided in the meeting that masks and covid precautions should be kept across the country. In this meeting, the officials have been instructed to find out the new variant soon. Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said an effective strategy has to be prepared to deal with the new variants. It also has to be ensured that the strategy is implemented properly.
On the other hand, a patient of Omicron's sub-variant BQ.1 and BA.2.3.20 has been found in Pune, Maharashtra. This is a re-combination of BA.2.75 and BJ.1. BMC has issued an advisory in the second week of October due to the increasing cases of Covid-19 and the festive season.
If we talk about the situation of corona in the country, then in the last 24 hours, 1,542 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. The good thing is that no patient died during this period, and the number of active cases of corona in the country is 26,449. At the same time, the number of patients who died of the corona has increased to 5,28,913.
