Meat shops in Jaipur will have to write Halal or Jhatka, Municipal Corporation issued order

The issue of the order to post the owner's name in front of shops in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand is still hot, and the Municipal Corporation (Greater) of Rajasthan's capital Jaipur has made it essential to write Halal or Jhatka outside meat shops. The corporation's directive stated that if this is not followed, action will be taken.

The corporation has also banned selling meat in the open. Mayor Saumya Gurjar said that there should not be a meat market near where people live. The corporation has decided that now only those meat shops will be given a license, which has a commercial lease. The sanctity of the Kanwar Yatra routes will also be taken care of. Open sale of meat will not be allowed on this route and near Shiva temples.

He said that some people are doing business by naming their shop or company differently from their religion. Information has been received from internet media that three owners of a company named Siyaram are Muslims. In such a situation, it should be known whether anyone is doing wrong things in the name of Hindu gods and goddesses. However, the mayor did not give much information about the company.
