Mumbai train blast: After a marathon hearing of about six and a half months, the High Court reserved its decision on Friday in the case of serial blasts in Mumbai local trains in the year 2006. 12 convicts of the blasts had filed an appeal in the Bombay High Court against the sentence.

A total of 12 persons were convicted in a special court in 2015. Five of them, including Ehtesham Siddiqui, Asif Khan, Faisal Sheikh, Naved Khan, and Kamal Ansari, received the death penalty, and 7 persons received life imprisonment sentences.
During the hearing in the case, the court said that if any accused wants to say something, we can allow him to do so for two minutes. On this, Naved Hussain, an accused lodged in Nagpur jail, told the court that he had been framed in this case. After this, no other accused said anything, so the court thanked everyone and said that "the hearing is closed for the decision.
