At the same time, the Meteorological Department has warned that in the next 48 hours the heat will break all the records of the season.

It is hot in Rajasthan. The sun is getting warmer day by day. In the past 24 hours, the state's mercury has risen almost to 47 degrees. Nautapa will start from May 25, but the heat has already shattered all the records. All Rajasthan is in the stranglehold of the heat waves. Today, 13 cities in Rajasthan have been put on alert for severe heat waves. At the same time, an advisory has been given that the temperature will touch 47 in Jaipur, Bikaner and Bharatpur divisions. There can be storm and rain in Udaipur and Kota divisions.

The hottest city was Ganganagar in the past 24 hours. Here, the maximum temperature stood at 46.3 degrees for the second day in succession. The top temperature was above 45 degrees in 5 towns. These were 45.8 degrees in Barmer, 45.9 degrees in Pilani, 45.7 degrees in Bikaner, 45.6 degrees in Churu and 46.3 degrees in Ganganagar. The top temperature was above 44 degrees in 10 towns in all. The mercury in the state capital Jaipur was 43.8 degrees. The department has predicted that the mercury would increase in Jaipur in the next 2 days. There would be massive heat waves in western Rajasthan in the next 4 to 5 days. In hot zones, the administration is getting the city roads sprayed.

The mercury has reached more than 30 degrees in many districts even at night. The highest minimum temperature was recorded at 31.4 degrees Celsius in Phalodi and 31.2 degrees Celsius in Jaipur.

In the last 24 hours the maximum temperature of the state was as follows. 42.2 in Ajmer, 42.4 in Bhilwara, 44.1 in Alwar, 43.8 in Jaipur, 45.9 in Pilani, 44 in Kota, 45.8 in Barmer, 44.7 in Jaisalmer, 43.2 in Jodhpur, 45.6 in Churu and 45.7 in Bikaner and 46.3 degrees maximum temperature was recorded in Ganganagar.
