Sabitha Sriram Crowned Ms India 2025: Leading India’s Digital Eco Revolution

Armed with a Master’s degree in Business and Analytics, Sabitha embodies the spirit of innovation. Her vision — “AI for Sustainability” — extends beyond theory, incorporating AI-driven agricultural enhancement, renewable energy use, and river and ocean cleaning through remote sensing technologies. She believes that technology, when combined with ethics and empathy, can transform India’s environmental and social landscape.

Inspired deeply by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Sabitha integrates his philosophy of “nation building through technology and knowledge” into her initiatives. Echoing Kalam’s PURA (Providing Urban Amenities to Rural Areas) model, she advocates for using AI and geospatial technologies to uplift rural India — improving weather forecasting, monitoring mineral resources for afforestation, and boosting crop productivity.

“My dream is a distress-free rural India — where farmers thrive, scientists innovate, and renewable energy lights every home,” says Sabitha. Her concept of Digital Eco Queen symbolizes a new generation of leadership that combines scientific knowledge with cultural values. Rooted in spirituality and guided by ethics taught by her parents and professors, she promotes the idea of women as the embodiment of Saraswathi and Matru Bhumi, inspiring women in science to lead climate research and environmental conservation.
