Global NCAP has published the crash test results of the Kia Carens. The MPV has achieved five stars in child safety and three stars in adult safety. It is important to note that the Carens was tested twice, as it received 0 stars in adult safety the first time around. Units produced from May 2023 to December 2023 have received 0 stars and units produced thereafter have received 3 stars.

The MPV tested by Global NCAP was equipped with frontal airbags, belt pre-tensioners, belt load limiters, side head curtain airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The results said the frontal head impact on the driver and passenger was good. The driver's neck received inadequate protection, while the passenger's neck was well protected.

Considerable side effect protection was provided for the head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Nothing struck the side pole. All seating positions in the car come equipped with 3-point seat belts as standard equipment.

Prices for the Kia Carens range from Rs 10.52 lakh to Rs 19.57 lakh at the moment. They are both ex-showroom prices. Ten variations are available for it. There are eight categories: X-Line, Luxury, Luxury (O), Luxury Plus, Prestige, Prestige (O), Prestige Plus, and Prestige Plus (O). Both 6-and 7-seater versions of the Carens are available to customers. Customers can select from three different engine options.
