Indian team against Ireland for ODI series revealed; See full team
India vs Ireland Women ODI Series: The selectors have expressed confidence in Raghavi Bisht and Sayali Satghare and both of them have returned to the team. Bisht recently made her T20 debut against West Indies in Navi Mumbai in December last year. Satghare was included in the team for the ODI against New Zealand in October 2024.
A 15-member Indian women's team has been announced for the three-match ODI series between India and Ireland. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and fast bowler Renuka Singh Thakur have been rested for this series. In the absence of Harmanpreet, the explosive opener Smriti Mandhana will be leading the team, whereas the all-rounder Deepti Sharma will be her deputy.

Since 1993, India and Ireland have played 13 ODIs against each other. Out of which India has won 12 while one match was canceled in 2002. The last time India played against Ireland in this format was eight years ago. In that match, Deepti and Poonam Raut made a record-breaking opening partnership and helped India win by a huge margin of 249 runs.
Deepti has a chance to break the big record of former captain Mithali Raj in this series. Deepti is just eight runs behind Mithali in terms of scoring the most runs against Ireland in women's ODIs. Mithali has scored 335 runs in six innings at an average of 111.66, which includes one century and two half-centuries. Deepti has scored 328 runs in three innings at an average of 164, which includes one century and two half-centuries.
