Indian Railways has taken a big decision regarding Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath Puja for the passengers. Looking at the crowd in the festivals, the Railways has decided to run a special train. Northern Railway announced starting a bi-weekly festival special train between New Delhi and Darbhanga Junction. In a week, this train will run twice and it will undertake a total of 28 trips.
The special train will bear No. 02262/02261. A total of 28 trips have been planned for this train. This special train will run from October 13 to November 27. Leaving New Delhi every Wednesday and Sunday, the train number 02262 will leave at 12.20 am and reach Darbhanga at 11.15 pm. Meanwhile, 02261 will leave Darbhanga at 8.15 pm and reach New Delhi at 11.20 pm.
This train will stop at Prayagraj, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur. The train will have AC coaches, sleeper coaches and general coaches.
