Indian-origin women in US finance: 5 Indian-origin women among 100 most talented women

Five Indian-origin women executives have also been included in America's 100 most influential women in the financial sector. This list has been released by Barron Magazine of Wall Street Journal. Anu Iyengar of JP Morgan, Rupal J Bhansali of Ariel Investments, Senali Desai of Franklin Templeton, Meena Flynn of Goldman Sachs and Savita Subramaniam of Bank of America have found a place in this list.
Barron's Magazine lists women who have achieved key positions in the financial services industry and played a key role in changing its future. The fourth annual list features established and emerging leaders in the financial services, corporate, NGO and government sectors.
Anu Iyengar became the global head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at JP Morgan in January. Earlier in 2020, she was the co-head of this department. Her interest in data and her expertise in negotiating legal contracts and building relationships with clients helped her grow in this field.
Rupali J Bhansali is the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager, of Global Equity Strategies, at Ariel Investments. She is a member of the Board of Directors of 100 Women in Finance. They believe that they are born for financial management or property management. She is passionate about encouraging women to work in the financial sector.
Senali Desai created history in 2018 by becoming the first woman to be appointed Chief Investment Officer at Franklin Templeton's Global Investment Fund. She joined the firm in 2009. Mina Flynn is Co-Head of Global Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs. In 1999, he started working with JP Morgan. She says more women are coming into asset management now.
Savita Subramanian is Head of Equity & Quantitative Strategy at Bank of America. She works on forecasts for the S&P 500 and other major US markets.
