India Dominate as Jaiswal, Gill Hit Centuries; West Indies Trail by 492 Runs in Delhi Test

Sudarshan was dismissed for 87, after which Jaiswal added 74 runs for the third wicket with Gill. Jaiswal scored 175 runs in 258 balls with 22 fours. He missed out on his third double century by being run out.

Captain Gill then added a quick 91 runs for the fourth wicket with Nitish Reddy, taking the team past 400. Nitish scored 43 runs off 54 balls, including two sixes and four fours. This sparked another impressive partnership. Gill, along with Dhruv Jurel, added 102 runs for the fifth wicket to take the team past 500.
Dhruv Jurel (44) was dismissed by Roston Chase in the 134.2 over, prompting the captain to declare the innings. Gill remained unbeaten on 129 runs off 196 balls, including two sixes and 16 fours. This was his fifth century as captain. For the West Indies, Jomel Warrican took three wickets for 98 runs, while captain Roston Chase took one wicket. The Indian team won the first match of the series by an innings and 140 runs. In such a situation, Team India would like to win this match and clean sweep it 2-0.
