Earlier on March 28, India had said that China may repeat its baseless claims. China often claims that Arunachal Pradesh is its part. Answering a question during the press conference, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that China has been continuously laying claim to Arunachal Pradesh. This came after the claim of China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jiang.

On Monday, Union External Affairs Minister S. Rejecting China's claims, Jaishankar said that changing the name does not make any difference. If I change the name of your house today, will it become mine? Changing the name has no effect. The Indian Army is standing alert on the Line of Actual Control.

China has recently made its claim to Arunachal Pradesh known once more. Arunachal Pradesh will never be accepted as a part of India, according to the Chinese Defence Ministry, which also dubbed the Indian state "Jangnan" and declared it to be a part of China. Subsequently, India refuted the ludicrous allegations once more and asserted that the northeastern states are an essential and inseparable component of India.
