Since today, India Mobile Congress 2024 (IMC 2024) has begun at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi and will continue till 18 October 2024. Over 120 countries, about 900 startups, and more than 400 exhibitors are participating in India Mobile Congress 2024. It is going to be the 8th edition of India Mobile Congress 2024. Just like every year, this year also PM Modi inaugurated the India Mobile Congress. The theme of the 8th edition of India Mobile Congress is "The Future is Now".

In the India Mobile Congress 2024, Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani advocated keeping India's data in Indian data centres. He said, "The scale and speed of data generation have scaled up really fast in this country; with AI, it's only going to go up even faster.". So, AI and machine learning data centres should be set up in the country for which Indian companies should get incentives from the government. He also requested that the government update the draft on Data Center Policy 2020 as soon as possible.

Akash Ambani said, "AI is very important to realize the dream of 'Developed India'. And Jio has started efforts to make the benefits of AI reach every Indian. Just like we did with mobile broadband. We are committed to providing powerful AI models and services at affordable prices. For this, we are laying the foundation of a national AI infrastructure."

Akash Ambani started with the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister by saying, "Today, because of Indian mobile companies and the booming start-up ecosystem, India can give AI solutions to the whole world, including developed countries. The biggest digital revolution has come in India due to the government's push towards industry and innovation. Business has now completely changed in New India.". Governing and industry are in coordination and working together to meet the requirements and aspirations of 145 crore Indians.
