There is a heavy to very heavy rain warning issued for 10 districts of the state during the day. Most districts of the state had torrential rains even on Saturday, during which Bhilwara registered maximum rainfall of 175 mm. On the other hand, 165 mm of rain lashed at Tonk's Niwai. Heavy rain estimate has been issued for the next 3 days for Jaipur division. Director Meteorological Department Radheshyam Sharma believes that since there are back to back systems formed over the Bay of Bengal, monsoon activities have every possibility of continuing.

Today, monsoon seems to be most active in eastern Rajasthan. Orange alert has been issued for very heavy rain in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur. At the same time, warning of heavy rain has also been issued in Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Banswara and Baran.

Due to heavy monsoon rains, there is continuous inflow of water in the dams of the state. Over the last 48 hours, approximately 240 million cubic meters of water have been received in the state's dams. Among the big dams, Rana Pratap Sagar of Kota, Mahi Bajaj Sagar of Banswara and Bisalpur of Tonk are continuously receiving water. Talking about Bisalpur dam, it is currently filled to 51.44 percent of its full capacity. The gauge of the dam is currently at 312.47 meters.

Due to this, two major trains of North Western Railway's Jaipur route have been rescheduled, these include the Superfast Express from Jaipur to Mumbai Central and the Express from Udaipur City to Yoga City Rishikesh. Train No. 12956: Jaipur-Mumbai Central Superfast Express will leave Jaipur today at 6 pm instead of its scheduled time of 2 pm, while Train No. 19609: Udaipur City-Yoga City Rishikesh Express will depart from Udaipur today at 3:30 pm instead of 1:45 pm.
