Google services affected worldwide; News, Discover and Trends affected

On Friday night, there was a disruption to certain Google services. The inability of Google News to function was lamented by many users. Google News's home page and the News tab are examples of this. The Google Discover homepage feed and Google Trends are reportedly not functioning at the same time, according to reports. Respondents on social media have addressed this.

Talking about the Google News tab, users faced the most problems in it. Users told on social media that many times on searching, this message was received, 'Did not match any news result'. At the same time, talking about the search engine's personalized content feed 'Google Discover', users got messages like 'Something went wrong' and 'No stories available, try again later'.

According to Downdetector, services of Gmail, Google Search, and Google Maps have also been affected in some countries. Downdetector released the data after studying several reports. According to this, till 7 pm on Friday, 65 percent of the people shared information about accessing Google-related websites, 31 percent of the users shared information about problems in using Google search and 4 percent of the users shared information about problems in logging in.
