Google Pixel Watch 4 Launched in India Starting at ₹39,900: Gemini AI, 45-Hour Battery, and Faster Charging

Google Pixel Watch 4 was launched at the Made by Google event on Wednesday. It has been launched in two sizes and has a design identical to the Pixel Watch 3. According to Google, with the Pixel Watch 4, users can quickly access Gemini and activate the voice assistant by simply raising their wrist. It has more than 40 exercise modes, loss of pulse detection, and other health features. This smartwatch can last up to 45 hours on a single charge.

Google Pixel Watch 4 price in India begins from Rs 39,900 for the 41mm (Wi-Fi) model. It comes in a bigger 45mm variant as well, priced at Rs 43,900. The company is also retailing an LTE model of the Pixel Watch 4 in the US and other markets, priced at $449 (approximately Rs. 39,000) and $499 (approximately Rs. 43,400) for the 41mm and 45mm models, respectively.

The 41mm variant is available in Iris, Lemongrass, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors. The 45mm Pixel Watch 4 is available in Moonstone, Porcelain, and Obsidian colors.

The Google Pixel Watch 4 features the same curved display as the previous model, though the company says that the bezels and peak brightness have been improved. It has an Actua 360 always-on display, which supports up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness and offers 16 percent thinner bezels than the Pixel Watch 3.

However, there has been no change in terms of hardware. It has the same Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, which also powered the previous two generations of Pixel Watch. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have new features.

According to Google, the Pixel Watch 4 supports smart replies and gives quick access to the Gemini voice assistant. It can be activated by just raising the wrist and can provide personalized suggestions, help and other features. This smartwatch runs on Material 3 Expressive UI.

This latest smartwatch from Google supports more than 40 exercise modes. It gives statistics in real time and users can create custom plans for running, as well as get real-time guidance. At the same time, the Loss of Pulse Detection feature monitors the pulse and can alert emergency contacts and services in case of any abnormal situation. It also has fall detection, which works in a similar way.

In addition, the Google Pixel Watch 4 is equipped with ECG, SpO2, HRV, and breathing rate detection. Connectivity options include dual-frequency GPS, Wi-Fi, and LTE support. The 41mm variant of the Pixel Watch 4 can offer up to 30 hours of usage on a single charge. At the same time, the 45mm variant can offer up to 45 hours of usage.

Fast charging support is also provided in it. Google says that it has a new fast-charging dock. The charging pins have been shifted to the side, which provides 25 percent faster charging. According to the company, it can be charged from 0 to 50 percent in just 15 minutes.
