Google Pixel 8 Pro Durability Test: Moving towards the Pixel 8 Pro bend test, the smartphone passed it without any hitch. Google Pixel 8 Pro passes durability test, beats iPhone 15 Pro Max in bend test

Google recently launched its new premium smartphone Pixel 8 Pro. The smartphone comes with new color options and many amazing features. The USP of the phone is Google's promise of providing software updates for seven years. As far as hardware is concerned, Google seems to have done a good job there too.

Jack Nelson, a popular YouTuber, has shared his Pixel 8 Pro durability test video on his channel. The video shows the new Google flagship going through a series of results that Nelson has been doing for years. The good news is that it has passed the testing with good results which will bring a big smile to the faces of Pixel fans.

The Pixel 8 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. During the scratch test, it performed exactly as one would expect. The phone suffered six scratches and level seven deeper scratches. The testing also confirmed that the phone does indeed have a metal frame. The glass on the back panel also passed the scratch test easily. The under-display fingerprint scanner was fully functional even after all the scratches.

Moving on to the Pixel 8 Pro bend test, the smartphone passed it without any hitches. This is the same test during which Apple's newly launched titanium iPhone 15 Pro Max failed miserably. When applied pressure, the Pixel flagship made a creaking sound but it did not break into two parts. There were no visible cracks in the antenna lines as was the case with last year's Pixel 7 Pro.

If you are planning to buy the Pixel 8 Pro, we believe you can be worry-free to some extent as Google is providing good build quality on this device. Additionally, the lack of a curved display on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series will make it harder to crack. Google Pixel 8 starts at Rs 75,999 in India while Pixel 8 Pro will cost you Rs 1,06,999.
