Google AI Overviews: A AI feature of Google launched in six countries, Indian users will get special access

Google has also launched Google AI Overviews in six other countries including India. Google announced this at its annual event Google I/O, but till now it was available only in the US.

Now Google AI Overviews can be used in Britain, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, and Brazil apart from India. According to Google, AI Overviews is a feature that gives users very accurate and concise information on a topic. When AI Overviews was launched in the US, it was available only in English, but in India, it has also been introduced in Hindi.

Hema Budaraju, Senior Product Manager, Google Search, said in a blog about the new feature, "Through our testing in these markets, we have found that people prefer to use Search with AI overviews and find their search results more useful. In fact, as part of testing, we have observed that Indian users hear AI overview responses more often than those in other countries.
