The Indian cricket team defeated Australia in Perth on Monday. This victory of Team India was strong and historic. But after this victory, the head coach of the team, Gautam Gambhir suddenly left for India. The coach had to come suddenly to India due to which an atmosphere of worry has been created in Team India.

Under his coaching, Team India had gone on a tour to Australia for the very first time. On the first day of the Perth Test match, India got all out at 150 runs. After this, Gambhir had been the target of the critics. But thereafter, Team India made a strong comeback and shut everyone's mouth.

According to the report of the English newspaper Times of India, Gambhir is returning to India due to a personal emergency and will join the team before the second match to be played in Adelaide on December 6. The newspaper has written in its report quoting BCCI sources, "Yes, Gambhir has left for India. He is returning to India due to a personal emergency. It seems that someone in his family is not well. He will join the team three days before the Pink Ball Test."

The Perth Test match was historic for India. For the first time since 2008, India won a Test match in Perth. After 16 years, India won this match. Now, India has to play the next Test in Adelaide. Before this, Team India has to play a tour game in Canberra. Team India will leave in a few days for this. This series is of immense importance to India as it might open the doors for its ICC World Test Championship by winning this series, whereas defeat can put it out of the tournament.

His absence means more responsibility for the coaching staff. The team management will be under assistant coaches Abhishek Nair, Ryan ten Doeschate, and bowling coach Morne Morkel. Rohit Sharma did not join the team during the first Test match. He stayed back in India as his wife gave birth to a baby boy. However, now Rohit has landed in Australia and was spotted in the dressing room of the team on the fourth day of the match. Rohit has also initiated net practice.
