England Lions named a 14-man squad for the four-day two-match fixtures against India-A that will begin in Canterbury on May 30. James Rave has been named captain of the England Lions. All-rounder Chris Woakes and spinner Rehan Ahmed have been named in the squad as well. Rehan, however, will only be available for the first match against India-A, following which he will be with the senior men's squad for the West Indies' T20 Internationals.

It will provide an opportunity to excel on the international stage individually and collectively, as we continue to make plans for England's future needs."

England Lions team is as follows: James Rave (captain), Rehan Ahmed, Sony Baker, Jordan Cox, Rocky Flintoff, Emilio Gay, Tom Haines, George Hill, Josh Hull, Eddie Jack, Ben McKinney, Dan Mousley, Ajit Singh Dale, Chris Woakes.
