Director Om Raut's statement on the trolling of Adipurush: Said - not surprised by the negative reaction, the film was not made to watch on mobile
The teaser of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Aadipurush was released. The teaser is being critiqued a lot on social media, not only this, people are furious at the makers of Adipurush since the teaser came out. People angry with the teaser are now demanding to boycott the film. Recently, the reaction of the film's director Om Raut has come to the fore in this matter. The director has broken his silence regarding Adipurush's VFX.
In a conversation with The Indian Express, Om Raut said- I was sad but not surprised because the film has been prepared for the big screen. You can cut it down to some extent, but still not make it mobile-worthy. If I had it in my hand, I would not have put a teaser on YouTube but this is the need of the hour. We have to put teasers of the film there so that the film can reach as many audiences as possible.
Om Raut further said- Senior citizens are the main audience for our film, which is very rare in cinema halls. In such a situation, we want people from far and wide to come and watch our film because it is Ramayana. This film has not been prepared for anyone but keeping in mind the people of every generation.
Aadipurush, directed by Om Raut, will release on January 12 next year. It is a pan-India film, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages including Hindi. Talking about Om Raut, he has directed films like Tanhaji and City of Gold.
