After the conclusion of the Western Disturbance in Rajasthan, the sky cleared, and dense fog was observed in several areas of the state. Dense fog was seen in over six districts during the morning hours, affecting national and regional roads, as well as rail services. As a result of mild cold air, the minimum temperature also decreased by 3 degrees Celsius. During the past 24 hours, areas of Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Bharatpur, and Karauli experienced fog conditions. Dense fog conditions in the border area of Jaisalmer decreased visibility up to 10 meters.

On Monday, Fatehpur in Sikar district was the coldest place in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius. Nagaur recorded 5.9 degrees Celsius, Lunkaransar 6 degrees Celsius, Dausa 6.5 degrees Celsius, Baran 7.8 degrees Celsius, Sirohi 8.1 degrees Celsius, Sriganganagar 9.3 degrees Celsius, and Churu 8.6 degrees Celsius. Due to fog, a bus traveling from Jaipur to Sriganganagar lost its way, but the driver managed to recover a few kilometers later. Meanwhile, trains slowed down due to dense fog in the Suratgarh area of ​​Sriganganagar. The fog has been affecting this area for the past two days.

Regarding daytime temperatures, Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state on Monday at 31 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 29.8 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur, 29.5 in Jalore, 28.8 in Nagaur, and 28.1 in Dausa. According to weather experts, fog will continue to affect northwestern Rajasthan today. Dense fog is likely to cover Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, and areas bordering Pakistan. Fog may also affect areas of Rajasthan bordering Delhi-NCR.
