Delbar Arya Transitions to Bollywood: A New Chapter After Punjabi Triumphs

Delbar Arya has been making waves in the entertainment industry with her versatile talent and striking presence. After earning accolades for her work in the film PR, Tu Hovein Main Hovan, and popular music videos like Kaabil, Downtown, and Rabba, Delbar is now gearing up for her next movie Damdaa. Alongside this, she is also collaborating with the famous singer Singga for their upcoming music video titled Shadow 2.

Despite her growing popularity and success, Delbar Arya has faced challenges in her career journey. She has expressed her strong desire to work more extensively in the Bollywood industry. However, she feels that she is often categorized as a Punjabi actress, which limits her opportunities in Bollywood. This typecasting has been a significant hurdle for her, despite her evident talent and versatility.

Regarding the dynamics of the industry, Delbar Arya expressed her opinions as follows: "It's easy for the audience to think that if you are doing well in the Punjabi industry, you can easily get work elsewhere. Also, it's quite tough to get a main lady role in Punjabi films or Bollywood. As in Punjabi films, we have to use the proper words and tones, and we need to have proper control over the language but Bollywood gives a wide range of characters to work with also explore different perspectives of different characters and I'm eager to work in Bollywood films."
