Dabang Delhi KC Retains Ashu Malik as Captain for PKL 12, Eyes Maiden Title Since 2021 Win

Dabang Delhi KC has made the decision to keep Ashu Malik on as captain for the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Witnessing the consistency, maturity and fighting temperament in the play of 22-year-old Ashu Malik on the mat, Dabang Delhi has again shown faith in him as captain. It is being reported that Ashu played very well last year. He was extremely vital for Dabang Delhi as a player and also as captain. He was the league's top scorer with most raid points at the end of the season.

Dabang Delhi KC CEO Prashant Mishra said that this season is important for us. We want to achieve great success by moving forward from six consecutive playoff appearances. This requires not only the effort of our players but also strong leadership on the field. Ashu has adapted perfectly to this role. He has shown resilience, maturity and the ability to motivate the team. Under his leadership, we are confident of winning the trophy.
