CM Bhajanlal Sharma to Lead 79th state-level Independence Day Celebrations at Jodhpur’s Barkatulla Stadium
Jaipur News: This year, the 79th state-level Independence Day celebration in Rajasthan will be held in Jodhpur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will hoist the flag at Barkatulla Stadium at 9:05 am and address the people of the state. The celebration will begin with paying tribute at the Shaheed Smarak.
This year, the 79th state-level Independence Day function in Rajasthan will be celebrated in a special atmosphere of enthusiasm and patriotism. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will unfurl the national flag at Barkatulla Stadium in Jodhpur at 9:05 am on Friday and will address the state people. The festival will start with the Chief Minister offering oblations to the martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak near Jai Narayan Vyas University at 8:55 am. Prior to the festival, he will arrive in Jodhpur and participate in the 'At Home' function at Mehrangarh Fort, the cultural function at Samrat Ashok Udyan, and the Tiranga Yatra.
A day before Independence Day, the Chief Minister will leave for Bikaner from Jaipur on Thursday. Here, he will interact with BSF jawans at Kodewala Border Out Post (Khajuwala), take part in the Tiranga Yatra in Nal village, and attend the Partition Horrors Memorial program in Bikaner city. After this visit, he will leave for Jodhpur and return to Jaipur by Friday afternoon. Apart from this, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and his wife participated in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and hoisted the tricolor at the Chief Minister's residence, and launched the campaign.
