Central Zone Dominate North East as Malewar Nears Double Century in Duleep Trophy 2025

The second quarter-final match of the Duleep Trophy has begun between North Zone and North East Zone from Thursday, on whose first day, Central Zone had made 432 runs for the loss of two wickets in 77 overs. In this match that is currently taking place at BCCI Center of Excellence Ground B in Bengaluru, Central Zone lost the toss and came to bat first, and lost Ayush Pandey's wicket (3) for only four runs. Danish Malewar was unbeaten on 198 runs at the end of the first day. Danish has hit one six and 35 fours so far in an innings of 219 balls. At the same time, Yash has contributed 32 runs in 37 balls to the team's account. By the end of the first day, Akash Chaudhary had bowled 17 overs for the opposition team, in which he took one wicket for 73 runs. Apart from him, Feiroijam Jotin has taken one wicket for 56 runs in 14 overs.
