Celebrity fashion designer Himmat Singh presented Khadi designer Nehru jacket to Rahul Gandhi

Himmat Singh, Khadi Consultant and Facilitator, Rajasthan Khadi and Village Industries Board, Jaipur met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He gifted Rahul Gandhi a designer Nehru jacket made of Khadi and a Safa made of Khadi cloth in Rajasthani style. Himmat told that Rahul was given a designer look to the Khadi wool cloth manufactured by the Khadi weavers of Bikaner and the printed cloth was placed inside the collar and jacket, which Rahul liked a lot.

He appreciated seeing the new design of Khadi Safa. Himmat had a detailed discussion with Rahul Gandhi about the upliftment of Khadi and connecting the youth with Khadi. He said that the Rajasthan government is preparing to bring a budget dedicated to the youth in the upcoming budget. For this, discussions have also been held with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to promote Khadi in it. He also presented a designer shawl to the CM.
