After winning the IIFA award for Best Negative Role in Animal, Bobby Deol of Bollywood fame is working on another big project. He will be starring in Thalapathy 69, which could be the last feature film of South superstar Vijay before his political career. Having announced the formation of his political party, 'Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam', recently, Vijay is speculated to retire from films.
Bobby Deol has officially been signed on to Thalapathy 69. This stepping stone was confirmed by the film's production house, KVN Productions. The production team shared a poster featuring Bobby Deol through social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with the caption: "Now 100% official. Thrilled and excited to announce Bobby Deol joins the cast of Thalapathy 69."
It is directed by H Vinoth and is set to be released grandly in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Featuring Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the cast, this is slated to be an enormous cinematic occasion. Providing the rangy background would be Anirudh's music score that should go well with the grandeur. The film is scheduled to be released in October 2025.
