India vs England T20i Series: Just before the start of the T20 series between India and England, the England Cricket Board has made a big change in the team. The English team has appointed young all-rounder Harry Brook as its new vice-captain in the limited overs format. Brook will now replace Moeen Ali.

The 5-match T20 International series between India and England starts on Wednesday, 22nd January. Both teams are sweating out during practice for capturing this series. Before the onset of this all-important series, the England Cricket Board has done something big. Before this, an all-rounder from Yorkshire - Harry Brook is given vice-captaincy status by the England team in its limited-overs format. Now Brook is seen as a vice-captain in the Champions Trophy along with T20 and ODI against India.

Brook is 25 years old. He has so far played 20 ODIs and 39 T20 Internationals for England. Earlier, he was given the captaincy of the team in the ODI series against Australia. Although England lost that series 2-3, Brook scored more than 300 runs in those five matches. Now Brook, who is fast making his mark in world cricket, will replace senior all-rounder Moeen Ali.

The England team will start the 5-match T20 series against India from Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The English team has reached Kolkata and the players are sweating it out in the practice session. With this series, Brendan McCullum's tenure as head coach in all formats of the England team will also begin.
