Bengaluru Bulls climbed to fourth place in the points table with their third consecutive win, defeating Bengal Warriors 43-3

With excellent performances from Alireza Mirzain (18 points) and defender Deepak Shankar (6), Bengaluru Bulls defeated Bengal Warriors 43-32 in the 80th match of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Sunday, moving to fourth place in the points table. A third consecutive win secured this spot for the Bulls, while Bengal faced their ninth defeat in 13 matches despite another Super 10 from Devank Dalal (13).
Bengal was behind in the first seven minutes, but thanks to Devank and his defenders, they not only took the lead but also brought the Bulls close to an all-out. The Bulls were reduced to one player, but Alireza's tackle on Manjeet prevented an all-out and brought the score to 9-10. After the break, Bengal attempted an all-out again with Devank, but Alireza dismissed Ashish, tying the score at 11-11. Then, Alireza executed a super tackle on Himanshu, giving the Bulls a 13-11 lead. Devank dismissed Satyappa, reducing the Bulls to two players again.
Alireza teased Bengal with a bonus, but Devank took his wicket on the next raid. It seemed an invisible force favored the Bulls—whoever was on the mat would make a difference. Ganesh Hanumantgol saved the team from an all-out with a super raid, making the score 17-13. Devank then dismissed Sahil, reducing Bengal to two players, but Ashish scored a super tackle on the next raid, making it 20-14. The more Bengal tried to all-out the Bulls, the stronger they became, preventing an all-out and leading 22-15 by halftime.

After halftime, Bengal successfully forced an all-out, closing the gap to 20-23. Post-all-out, Devank completed his Super-10, but Alireza responded with a super raid, reducing the gap to six points. Meanwhile, Alireza’s Super-10 was also achieved. The Bulls then forced a super tackle on Bengal, which was beneficial as Ankitan executed a super tackle on Alireza, making it 24-29.
Despite similar situations, the Bulls prevented Bengal from mounting a comeback and inflicted an all-out, ending the first 30 minutes at 35-26. In the final quarter, Bengal attempted a comeback, but the Bulls held firm. At one point, they led 40-29. Devank tried to rally Bengal, but Deepak caught him, ending that effort. The Bulls then finished the match confidently, nearly all-out Bengal, and secured a sizable victory.
