Apple AI capabilities will soon become available in India. In a statement, the corporation confirmed that "Apple Intelligence" capabilities will become available in India in April. "Apple Intelligence" capabilities will have native language capabilities and will become available with the update for iOS 18.4.
Apple CEO Tim Cook recently gave information about this during the company's quarterly earnings report. He said, "We are working hard to take Apple Intelligence further. In April we are launching it in several new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. Apart from this, localized English support will also be added for Singapore and India.
Apple first started offering Apple Intelligence in October 2024 with its update in iOS 18.1. It was initially supported only by US English, but later localized English for UK, Australia, and Canada have been included. Users in India will soon enjoy access to this AI feature as well.
Responding to a question about quarterly performance at Apple, Tim Cook stated strong growth in many emerging economies including India. He said that India's best-seller for them was the iPhone, and it delivered tremendous performance for them. With the growing demand for Apple in India, even its retail stores in India will expand, according to them.
