Airtel Network Outage: Bharti Airtel's network once again increased the problems of users. People in many big cities, including Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata had trouble making and receiving calls. Thousands of complaints were registered on DownDetector.

Bharti Airtel's network has yet again come to a halt. This time, the maximum impact was witnessed in major cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. On Monday (August 8) of this week, the networks of Airtel and Jio crashed in Delhi-NCR, causing services such as calls, SMS, and internet to be disrupted.
According to the data of DownDetector, the number of complaints reached its peak at around 12:15 pm, when more than 7,100 users reported the problem of the Airtel network being down.
The company's customer support handled Airtel Cares issued a statement on X, calling it a "temporary connectivity problem" and said that the problem will be resolved within an hour. The company also advised users to restart their mobile phones.
Airtel tweeted, "We are sorry for the inconvenience. This problem is due to a temporary connectivity disruption and will be resolved in about an hour. Please restart your mobile after that."
After the network disruption, a large number of users expressed their displeasure on social media. One user wrote, "Airtel internet is down in Bengaluru today. Shouldn't the company inform users in advance?"
At the same time, another user complained, "Airtel postpaid service has been down for the last 6 hours. Calls are not being made, and the internet is also down. There is no response from customer care either. TRAI should take action on this."
