The administration became strict on the movement of Kashmiri Pandits: in September, the absent employees will not get a salary, the protesters said - do not exploit by deducting the salary

In Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits have been agitating against target killings for several days. Meanwhile, the administration has become strict. On Wednesday, the administration issued the order. It said that the absent employees will not get their salary in September. The Kashmiri Pandits sitting on the dharna said that we should not be exploited by deducting the salary.
After the continuous target killing, more than 4 thousand Kashmiri Pandit employees have been demonstrating peacefully for 134 days. Their demand is that the government should guarantee security and post outside the valley. However, a consensus has not been reached in the talks of these employees with the government so far.
In the order to stop the salary, the union said that the employees are staging a dharna demanding transfer, but care is not being taken. Instead of solving the problem, action is being taken. Earlier, the administration had set up a special cell in the LG's secretariat to solve the problem.
The protesting employees have launched a campaign to fill the consent form for transfer and attachment in the office of the Relief Commissioner, Jammu. So far 1500 employees have submitted their consent forms.
Ruban Sapru, sitting on a dharna in Jammu, said that our only demand is that we should be given a safe posting outside the valley. We are not going to work due to security reasons. The government should issue an order to every department that the salary of a single employee working under the PM package should not be stopped. The administration should constitute a committee to resolve this issue so that talks can be resumed.
