Shares of Adani Group companies rose by as much as 9 per cent on Thursday, January 16, following a report that Hindenburg Research, the US investment firm which has short-sold its stock, is winding down.
Adani Power stock jumped 9 per cent to Rs 599.90, while Adani Green Energy rose 8.8 per cent to Rs 1,126.80 on the BSE.
While Adani Enterprises jumped 7.7 per cent to Rs 2,569.85, Adani Total Gas rose 7 per cent to Rs 708.45.
