Vivo V70 Series India Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon Chips, Zeiss Cameras Incoming
The Vivo V70 series will launch in India soon, the company announced on Friday. The series will include two phones, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. Both will feature Snapdragon chipsets and a Zeiss-powered rear camera setup. Let's find out the details.
The much-awaited Vivo V70 series will soon hit the Indian shores, announced the Chinese mobile manufacturer on Friday. The upcoming series will comprise two models: Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. A dedicated microsite for the upcoming series has already gone live on an e-commerce website, which confirms their availability and specifications. Both smartphones will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Furthermore, the upcoming Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite will feature Zeiss-powered cameras on their rear sides. The pricing and images of the upcoming series have already appeared online.
A dedicated microsite for the Vivo V70 series has gone live, confirming the launch of the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite smartphones in India in the near future. The microsite also confirms that these handsets will be available for sale in the country via Flipkart. The tech firm has revealed that the Vivo V70 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Vivo V70 Elite will feature a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It has also been confirmed that the phones will come with Zeiss-powered rear camera units.
The company has also revealed the design of the Vivo V70 series. The handsets are shown to feature a triple rear camera setup housed within a square-shaped camera module. The right side of the phone will house a power button and volume rocker.
In terms of specifications, it will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with 459 ppi pixel density, up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, 1.07 billion colors, and 1.25mm thick bezels. While the Vivo V70 will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow color options, the Vivo V70 Elite will be offered in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black shades.

Vivo's upcoming V70 series will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. It will also come with IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. In terms of camera, it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and an unspecified ultrawide camera. On the front, it will feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
However, Vivo has not yet announced the exact launch date of its upcoming smartphones, which is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. A tipster recently claimed that the upcoming Vivo V70 series will be priced under ₹55,000 in India.
