Vivo S50 Pro Mini Set for China Launch; Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 6,500mAh Battery Confirmed
The Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone is expected to launch this month. This Vivo phone will be offered in the premium mid-range. Ahead of its launch, this Vivo phone has been listed on Geekbench. This Vivo phone will be launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and Android 16.
Vivo is currently preparing to launch a new smartphone. It will arrive as the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which is a premium mid-range phone. This future smartphone has popped up on Geekbench bearing the model number V2527A. It may launch in its home market of China this month. Several reports suggest that the company could launch this very phone as the Vivo X300 FE in the global market.
The company has already confirmed that the upcoming Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone will pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Thus, the CPU clock speed in the Geekbench listing confirms the chipset.
The phone is listed with Android 16, alongside 16GB RAM. As for the phone's performance, it managed to attain a single-core score of 2778 and a multi-core score of 9344.

Metadata also reveals that this phone features an Adreno 829 GPU for graphics support. However, Qualcomm recommends the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset with the Adreno 840 GPU. This GPU is also included with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Users will have to compromise on the graphics experience by using the Adreno 829 GPU with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Vivo may have done this to control pricing.
The company has revealed some of the core hardware of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini smartphone. This phone will feature a 6.31-inch flat AMOLED display. This phone will feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Speaking of the camera system, it will have a VCS light-sensitive primary sensor, a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel anti-distortion selfie camera. The phone will not have a camera bump for a clean look.
This upcoming Vivo smartphone will launch with a 6,500mAh battery. This phone will support 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. Additionally, this Vivo phone will feature features like an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68, and IP69 ratings.
