Grok AI: Elon Musk's AI tool updated, will now remember old things too
Grok AI: Grok will now remember some important things from your old conversations. For example, if you once got a workout plan made from Grok and were told that you like cardio, then the next time you ask a fitness-related question, Grok will give suggestions keeping that information in mind.
Elon Musk-owned company xAI has introduced a new and exclusive memory function for its chatbot Grok. Using the new function, Grok will now recall your conversation history and, from there, provide you with even more personalized and intelligent responses. Similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, now Grok will answer your question,s with an awareness of your likes, dislikes, and habits.
Grok will retain some things of significance from your earlier chat. For instance, had you previously gotten a workout routine created from Grok and informed them that you prefer doing cardio, the next time you pose a fitness question, Grok will make suggestions based on that information.
Keeping your data and privacy in mind, xAI has added a special system in it. Whenever an answer is based on an old conversation, a small icon named "Referenced Chats" will appear below the answer. By tapping on this icon, you will be able to see which old information has been used in this answer. If you want, you can also delete those memories from there. Currently this feature is available on the web, it will be added to the Android app soon.
