Amazon Debuts Video Recaps With AI-Generated Plot and Character Summaries
The new Amazon Video Recaps feature on Prime Video provides viewers with an AI-generated video summary of the previous season, including plot points, characters, dialogue, and voiceovers. This is especially useful when a new season of a show is released, allowing viewers to quickly refresh the story. Currently, this feature is available in beta for select Amazon Original shows in the US.
Amazon Video Recaps has arrived as a new AI-powered feature for the video streaming platform. According to Amazon, Video Recaps will act as a refresher for viewers when a new season of the show is launched. Text-based summaries, known as X-Ray Recaps, are already available on the streaming service. The new video recap feature is now available in beta in the US.
