Virat Kohli Slams His 72nd International Century, Surpasses Ricky Ponting
The legend remains the only batter to have a combined average of more than 50 across all three formats, among those who have more than 50 international centuries.
Former India captain Virat Kohli smashed his 72nd international century in the One Day International Cricket and surpassed Australia legend Ricky Ponting in the list of most centuries across formats.
King is now in the second position behind Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most international centuries. He achieved the milestone during the third One-Day International between Bangladesh and India on Saturday in Chattogram. The 91-ball 113 came after a long wait after 2019 against the West Indies in Port of Spain.
